Because, “there will always be more good ideas than there is capacity to execute,” (The 4 Disciplines of Execution), at ARC we work collaboratively across divisions to refine/revise/re-prioritize the Product Development plan to meet the needs of our customers.
We are experimenting with this forum as a space for ARC teammates to share ideas.
During a Rate of Reading Growth PLC at the end of February, teachers in Chapel Hill requested that their Classroom Dashboards be more closely tied to points. For example, they had several students sitting at 1B which were all shown as proficient; however, some were at 1.30 while others were at 1.58 and although both were 1B and currently considered proficient, we had discussions about action planning differently for the student who just entered 1B vs. the student about to move on to 2B and stay on track for the year. If we want to strategically monitor growth, the teachers felt like the points should be part of what is displayed on the Classroom Dashboard.
