Because, “there will always be more good ideas than there is capacity to execute,” (The 4 Disciplines of Execution), at ARC we work collaboratively across divisions to refine/revise/re-prioritize the Product Development plan to meet the needs of our customers.
We are experimenting with this forum as a space for ARC teammates to share ideas.
A teacher I work with suggested the idea of attaching work samples to a student's Power Goal in SchoolPace. It came out of a conversation for how to make each student's profile as well-rounded as possible, and I thought it would be an effective way to track progress and for other teachers and admin to see student work.
From Lynne Phinney, admin, at Sandwich SD:
Thank you again for an awesome PD today! One of our teachers suggested/asked if there could be an option to upload evidence on School Pace in the form of a photograph. Is this something that could be added to the platform?Jennifer, Sandwich is lucky to have you as a support!
From Michelle Delgado, ARC Coach, on behalf of Highline Schools:
Please Consider: Would SchoolPace offer a place to upload/attach data where teachers can capture what the student is able to do for that skill (excel or some spreadsheet) instead? Also consider revising the skill card in student friendly language that directly reflects SchoolPace? That way the data can be meaningfully captured in one place and follow the student over the span of his/her school career.
Claire Attardo, admin, at Saratoga Springs City SD:
It would be amazing if we could attach files or pictures as evidence
