Because, “there will always be more good ideas than there is capacity to execute,” (The 4 Disciplines of Execution), at ARC we work collaboratively across divisions to refine/revise/re-prioritize the Product Development plan to meet the needs of our customers.
We are experimenting with this forum as a space for ARC teammates to share ideas.
We are starting to get requests from different districts to either have the ability to mark a student absent, or enter a note and have it not count as a conference.
A school admin from Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools said they'd like a way to "document when students are not showing up for conferences".
From Diana Torres at Caesar Rodney:
Is there a way that we can have a feature added to account for students who are missing a lot of school days. Whether it be an extended absence for vacation, sickness, or students who frequently miss classes and conferencing appointments...it would be great to see a feature where we can add those notes and not get penalized for productivity in our conferencing schedules. Our admin frequently shares out the team productivity and it isn't fair to look as though we are underperforming when most of our students are getting met with and we have high absentee rates. Thanks
From Melissa Morales Vasquez (coach):
Please add an absent button in SchoolPace.
From Naomi Irizarry at West Chicago:
We were told that if we wanted to enter information about a student being absent that it should be in the notes. Since if it is put in the evidence it would change conferencing data. But someone else said even in the notes it changes conferencing data. Does adding notes change conference data? Is there a place that works best to report student absences?
From Amanda Pucino at Newburgh:
Please add an absent button for all of the students in school pace so that the data is accurate in school pace.
Had this request from Jessica Klingman at Newburgh.
Had this request from Julie Parsons at Greece CSD.
Had this request from Mariah Schick on behalf of Scituate.
