Because, “there will always be more good ideas than there is capacity to execute,” (The 4 Disciplines of Execution), at ARC we work collaboratively across divisions to refine/revise/re-prioritize the Product Development plan to meet the needs of our customers.
We are experimenting with this forum as a space for ARC teammates to share ideas.
In Kindergarten and first grade specifically...teachers want the ability to pull word bank/initial consonants/blends for the entire class...rather than just student by student. This would help the teacher to be able to see who may need the same things (same letters/words/etc) to build purposeful small groups and to help them be more deliberate with planning foundational skills instruction for the whole class as needed.
Ts are creating excel spreadsheets and opening up every student's IRLA to find similar PW needs and Consonant needs and Blends needs...having this option automoatically would be great!
From Brianne Mull Delaney in School District of Lancaster:
Not having the power words all in one place for teachers to see who knows what is the one thing that I think is a shortcoming of SchoolPace.
I wish they would curate this data for us within the platform.
Maybe you could share with the IT team?
