Because, “there will always be more good ideas than there is capacity to execute,” (The 4 Disciplines of Execution), at ARC we work collaboratively across divisions to refine/revise/re-prioritize the Product Development plan to meet the needs of our customers.
We are experimenting with this forum as a space for ARC teammates to share ideas.
From Laura Kaplan, principal of Mount View elem in Highline: Laura.Kaplan@g.highlineschools.org,
I am a school principal in our 3rd year of using ARC. We are a dual language school (Spanish/English). Our teachers continue to really struggle with the efficiency (lack thereof) of entering student progress monitoring data on a regular cycle. It takes so many clicks to get through to find where to mark progress for students and they have such limited time and then when they sit down the next time with a group, they can't easily even find the most recent info (sounds like that part is being worked on based on the "coming soon" announcement). We really could use a more efficient, quick, easy way for teachers to take notes that "count" as conferring and are easy for them to reference the next time they sit down with students/a group. (At this point, it seems more helpful to teachers to just hand-write their progress monitoring notes than enter in the system) Thank you.
