From Bobby Olson, admin, at Ferndale SD:
I have been working with our District's data from SchoolPace and have found that the most valuable metric that we currently use to keep an eye on student performance is "Monthly Growth Rate". Growth is a metric within SchoolPace, but we have found that a student that began at the beginning of the school year may have grown 0.4 points by January, while a student that started school in December has also grown 0.4 points by January. Both students have the same growth, but a very different growth rate.
At the moment, since this is not a metric that is currently available on SchoolPace, we have been exporting data, then adding columns and formulas in the spreadsheet to calculate growth over time. Is it possible to add this metric to SchoolPace's data options?
Happy to talk further!
