I keep reminding teachers not to use the "mark all previously checked words" box unless they're truly reassessing students since SP will note these as additional conferences. This throws things off as it updates conference activity when in reality the teacher isn't conferring with students. Additionally, it makes it appear as if the teacher just repeatedly reassessed the student and provided no instructional support and/or the student is making no progress in foundational skill acquisition. The teachers need a resource for amplifying which skills students have already demonstrated proficiency in and what still needs to be taught? Can we add a HIGHLIGHT all previously checked words button? Or a pop-up screenshot of the last "greened" assessment for them to address this need?
